ShareKnowledge proudly launched its highly anticipated version 4.5.6 —boasting almost 40 new features. “We’re really excited to deliver the latest version of ShareKnowledge,” states Keth Crotty, VP of Business Development at ShareKnowledge. “We make a point to not only listen and take note of the changes in the training space but also what our clients need and ask for.”
One of the exciting new changes to ShareKnowledge is the addition of external courses. Workers learn in a variety of ways and sometimes that means outside of the learning portal, e.g. a community college class. In this instance, learners can still get credit by submitting their learning record as an external course in the LMS. Once submitted, the instructor or manager can approve or deny the request. If there is a certificate or proof of completion, the document can also be stored along with the external learning record.
In the last version of ShareKnowledge, the trainer’s workplace was introduced where instructors could manage continuous education units (CEUs) and instructor-led events. ShareKnowledge version 4.5.6., now offers a redesigned and improved event grading page. Training administrators can directly register a user for an event without the user submitting a request and waiting for approval. In addition, trainers can set attendance or absence of users and assign scores for each day of an event.
It is our goal to provide the best training features and benefits for our clients, said Crotty. Because ShareKnowledge is fully adaptable and scalable, as a companies’ needs grow and change, so do we.
